Dr. Lynes grew up in Ottawa surrounded by dogs, where she discovered firsthand the power of the human-animal bond. She earned her biology degree at Carleton University before moving to Guelph to attend the Ontario Veterinary College.
After graduation, Dr. Lynes practiced small animal medicine in a close-knit community before returning home to Ottawa. Back in her hometown, she transitioned into general practice with a dedicated focus on preventative medicine. She is deeply passionate about supporting clients through challenging moments, offering compassionate guidance during end-of-life decision-making.
At home, Dr. Lynes cares for three "fur babies" of her own: a small dog named Maverick, a large black Lab named Charlie, and an affectionate cat named Goose. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, reading, and walking her dogs.
