Proceeds to benefit the Big Sky Ranch animal sanctuary: www.bigskyranch.ca Greenboro Veterinary Clinic turns 7 years old! The staff of Greenboro Veterinary Clinic is very excited to once again host a fundraising event in support of Big Sky Ranch on Saturday, September 25th 2010 at the Conroy Pit. Big Sky Ranch (bigskyranch.ca) is a privately funded animal sanctuary located in Kemptville. It is a registered charitable organization operated by Mr. Andy Parent. The non-kill sanctuary was established in 2002 and has helped over 1500 abused and unwanted animals including dogs, cats, and a variety of farm animals and other critters. Our upcoming third annual event looks to be as exciting as the previous two with many of the previous displays and demonstrations returning as well as newly added events. There will be a sampling of the Big Sky animals including horses, ducks, sheep, and pigs, a pet photographer, track and scent dog demonstrations, dog agility and obedience demonstrations, a kid's face painting and events area, prize raffles, educational pet presentations, and BBQ lunch. We rely on the support of individuals and small businesses to make this event successful so that we can help the Big Sky animals. Donations in the form of items, services and gift certificates to be used in the raffle are greatly appreciated. Because we believe it is important that the public know who has provided their generous support, donator's names will be posted at the event and on the GVC (greenborovet.com) website.
